Question Shimano Ultegra 6700 GLOSSY GREY group set with SRAM Force GXP 10-Speed Road Crankset

I'm planning to use a Sram Force 10 speed crankset with Shimano Ultegra 6700 GLOSSY GREY group set. The Sram has black arm/spider and greyish chaining.

Or another option is Shimano 105 crankset in black. It is a little heavier but better looking than Ultegra or Dura Ace.

Does it look fine or odd when using different brand crankset ???
Is it OK to mix components ?

    Thanks.....

Is it fine if I eat mac & cheese with my steak instead of mashed taters? Is it okay if I wear brown shoes instead of black? I pee standing up; is that okay?

    It'll work fine...

I'm currently running full Ultegra 6700 and a compact SRAM S975 Quarq crankset. Everything works fine with one caveat. With the Ultegra compact crank i could sit in the 34 and run the entire rear cassette without the chain hitting the shift ramps on the big ring. That is not the case with the SRAM I start having issues on the 2nd last cog and the last one is a no go. I realize these are not the best gears to be in, but it does happen and with the SRAM it forces a shift. Not a huge problem though on most ride, moreso when I'm in recovery mode.
