    Snapped seat clap bolt !

Hey I'm not a light weight, and even when I was lighter I was still breaking the Zipp2001 seat clap bolts. Since going to a common bolt from the hardware store I do break less bolts than the original custom made bolts.

I hope your seat clap is not of the antibiotic resistant kind.

Given the design and use, there seems to be a lot of stress on that bolt. I suggest you try uncommon bolts. "Common" bolts are generally grade 2 (no markings on the head). Try grade 5, or grade 8. Or metric of a similar material and strength.

    Stout beers under trees, please.
