    Question SRAM RED Brake Calipers and Shimano shifters

    Hi all!
    I need some help with a set up Im looking to do .
    Im looking to put on one or more of my bikes SRAM RED Brake Calipers and Im wondering how it will work with my with SHIMANO Ultegra st-6700 ---& or--- SHIMANO Ultegra st-6600 Brake Lever sets.

    please post your feed back on this if you have done this or know someone who has .

    it will work better with Shimano 6600 levers because the pull ratio is the same

    the 6700 has it's own ratio of 1.4 and this may result in brakes that feel unnatural and overpowered. I think that's right but 6600 and 6700 definitely have different brake ratios.

    That pull ratio crap is just that!

    I've installed SRAM calipers on 6600 and 6700...no issues.

    I'm currently running Mavic SSC brakes on my 7900 levers and it stops NOW! Waaaay better than the 7800 levers that came off the bike.
