    Is there a headset to adapt a 1 1/8" fork to a 1" headset

Just got a colnago master without a fork. It looks like I can fit a 1 1/8 " fork in the headtube if there was a special 1 1/8 " conversion headset. Does this headset exist and if not are there any other options than using a 1" fork which there are very little of it seems

I would work on getting a 1" fork to match.

Yeah hard to find a steel fork the right length as my frames a 59 most used forks are for smaller bikes. I kinda new it was a long shot but thought there was a headset with really thin bearings to adapt. Best bet I guess is to buy a new 1" fork.

Have you looked at the link to the forks on e-bay I posted?

My DeRosa is a 58 and a quick measure from top of fork crown to top of headset is right at 200mm. Thats a threaded steerer and headset.
Measure your head tube and add the stack height of the headset your going to use and see if 200mm will work.

If the steerer is a little short the Chris King GripNut headset is made to compensate a few mm's.
