    Ultegra 6500 9 speed

I currently have microshift 9 speed shifters on my bike and was wondering if a ultegra 6500 RD would work with my current shifters. I know that the ultegra RD has a 2:1 ratio but not sure what my shifters have. I currently have a tiagra RD. Thanks.

It will work fine as will a 10 speed so long as it is a road.

Is this an upgrade or is your derailleur damaged?

I ask because if you're trying to get better shifting, you might do better looking at the cables and housings or the shifters themselves. Undamaged Tiagra rear derailleurs work great.

Microshift is 100% compatible with Shimano and Microshift works very well also in my experience.
