    Bianchi Axis from 2001, worth?

What do you think a Bianchi Axis from 2001 in pretty much new condition is worth? Never raced apparently, only a commuter.

    thanks

If its in REALLY good condition, maybe $500...but you can pick up a 2007 new Axis from Jenson USA for $895 if you ride a 55cm or a 57cm

Is the implication that a commuter bike would be in better shape than a racer? Or worse?

hey good point, didn't think of that. double checked, person actually said "only road miles.." not commuting specifically.

yeah, I broke my 2000 Axis in half after 3 years of regular usage, almost exclusively commuting.

my race bikes stay in much nicer shape than my dedicated commuter machines
