K-Edge Cross Double Chain Catcher question

Has any one tried to use this on a mountain bike with a 2x10 crank?

Cross Double Chain Catcher - K-Edge Chain Catchers

I posted over in MTB but have gotten nothing. I use there ACS that replaces the BB spacer so I can't there mountain bike chain catcher. It looks like its not for 2x10 cranks any way.

it looks very nice. I use one called a jumpstop that seems to work fine also. I would not buy a 65 dollar chain watcher myself, but you can put one under the christmas tree for me

I have one on my cross bike it works great. Not that that really answers your question regarding MTN bike use.

If any one is interested. It looks like they will work on a mountain bike. But because the rings are allot smaller you have to get the XL version.

I have an XL on my mountain bike with a 2x10. The seattube flared slightly near the bottom bracket, so the shorter one would not fit. (could not get it far enough down the seattube)

I got the short one today to try it. I have an aluminum frame no strange shapes. I just cant get it low enough. The clamp needs to sit right on the weld for the BB and the down tube. But I know the XL will work.

The jumpstop mentioned earlier...cheap, and works like a champ. But no vertical adjustment, so if you can't get the clamp low enough then you are SOL.

No its made from aluminum and its cnc machined right here in the USA. And if it saves me from stopping to fix a dropped chain in a race its money well spent.
