one of the best world championships in a Long time

The Women's Race was awesome. I won't spoil. Battles for 1-2 and 3-4. The men's race may seem like a foregone conclusion with the way MVdP has been riding but major differences today came when people were off the bikes.

The U23 women's was nuts. Richards winning doing nearly an entire lap on a single speed.

Course was an absolute mud pit.

That looked.........TOUGH! Those guys usually make things look easy but even for them that looked like a slog. Wonder what lap times on that course would have been like for mere mortals.

Great elite lady's race. So close, so close!!! I thought she finally had one.

Surprised at the men's race, like everyone who has been following this season. I know Wout is often touted as having the advantage in heavy courses or running courses or climbing courses. But I thought that this season MVdP pretty much disproved all of those perceived Wout advantages. But WC always seems to surprise.
