    RM Solo CXR build

Picked up my new ride today! In a pouring rain storm.

My old Raleigh RX was ragged out and I found this frameset for a fair price. Swapped over most of my old parts. Fatter seat tube so went with a new WCS post and new Ultegra mech up front. New cables. 19.4 lbs on the shop scale. Not bad. Will shave some weight off down the road but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Probably add a matching Neuvation wheel for the front soon. Just wish it wasn't raining right now so I could ride!

Cool, I just ordered one after lookingat a lot of options looked to best bang for buck and liked geo. Will post up when it gets delviered and has a couple rides on it.

Curious on the Seat Stays if they really help with vibration dampening.

I love this bike! Feels very light and very stiff but does not beat you up. Laterally stiff yet vertically compliant....LOL! My old bike was a 55. This is a 54 with shorter chain stays and shorter wheel base. The handling is very snappy, quick, responsive. Haven't had it off road yet and am curious to see/feel how that goes. The fit is just so much better than the old 55. Also way less flex in the BB area. I can't feel any on this frame at all where it was quite noticeable on the old. Overall: very very happy. I'm now saving for a lighter wheelset...
