What's a used 2012 Crux comp Apex worth?

There's a Crux Comp Apex (non disc) 2012 in good shape with 40mm tubeless tires available locally. What do you think is a good price for this bike? I'm thinking about getting it to replace my current Dual Sport and use on a KK Trainer during the winter months.

it depends if it was used for its intended purpose and abused, pressure washed and generally hammered for 3 months. It also depends if you can do the work of things like cable, chain and bearing replacement yourself or will have to pay to have it done. In the later case you have to subtract this out from the value of the bike.

In general a decent aluminum cross bike is maybe 600-800 and a CF is 1200, just off the top of my head in decent condition.

A new one at my lbs is on sale for around $1500. These guys usually have pretty fair prices. I have attached their price list. Look under the "cross/touring" section and the bike is listed as the Crux Com Elite from 2012:

Thanks guys, some good perspective on value for sure
I wouldn't buy a new one, just looking for a reasonably priced used one. I'll keep an eye on this local one and see if he comes down some more on price. His price right now is too high based on your input.

I went and look at it today finally, it's like new except the tape on the bars - nice bike asking $925 but might be able to get it for 800. Not sure about the SRAM Apex shifting though, it's very different from the Ultegra group on my Domane - would take some getting used to - My fingers being cold / numb didn't help me with any confidence shifting. Will have to think on this one some.
