    There was a section @ Nittany last year that was about 4 inches less water than that but still standing water. Too much fun.

    ugh, I'd hate to see who didn't rebuild/replace their bearings after that race...

    It's not worse than a pressure washer. By the way we used to plunge the bikes in the rivers and the hubs didn't need rebuild after every races.

    While not quite as deep as the 3-peaks 'river crossing' pictured above, at Masters Worlds this past january, much of the lower areas of the course looked like that during open riding Wednesday afternoon and the first half of the day on Thursday after which the rain turned to sleet/snow allowing the water to drain, but the course then quickly became an ice rink.
