    Ghost Riders..A generation of cyclists who insisted on riding clean in the ' LA ERA"

    Ghost Riders :: Texas Monthly

    This article is about Pat McCarty who raced on both Postal and Phonak. This is a very good article and to me these guys like Pat are the true unsung hero's.

    "Pat headed off to a training camp in Austin, where he recalled his hero showing up to the team rides in a Suburban with blacked-out windows, then barking out orders. “He carried out the role of the elusive captain really well,” Pat said. “I was so nervous around him I didn’t even know what to say.”

    Great read. Its also so very sad. I have to wonder what great talents we all missed out on seeing due to doping, and whose wonderful careers were stunted and tossed into the trash bin due to the greed and corruption of others.
