    hmmmm... vino held off the peleton

    but according to horner each rider was giving it their all and "when the rider blew up and pulled off gave vino the extra seconds he needed".. ???!?!!!?

    Well on TV in looked like there was one Milram rider (Gerdeman?) trying unsuccessfully to close it down for Ciolek. He looked like he was dying and when he blew up Vino's lead went out.

    Another indicator that they all the riders weren't giving their all is that they were mostly bunched up across the rode, not strung out like in the closing kms of typical sprint stage or when the pressue is really on.

    Maybe Horner was on the rivet and not the rest
    Funny enough that Thor was complaining the group did not get moving so the other sprinters made it back up.
