Yup, it's just a shame that cycling cops it more than any other sports. Of course these champion athletes in tennis, running, swimming, football etc are doping also. There's nothing about hoisting your leg over a bike that makes doping unique to cycling.

Yes everyone wants the sport to be cleaner, but why has the governing body allowed its biggest names to get ripped apart in the last decade? There are countless examples and suspicious instances in other sports of its stars being protected. USADA is just a c*** of an organization looking for publicity.

It's not the doping at heart that makes cycling look like a joke - it's the champions publicly getting torn to pieces. I pretty much understand their strategy of explaining the testing to the athletes early on.

IF THE TESTING IS INADEQUATE THEN DON'T BLAME THE ATHLETES FEELING THE NEED TO LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD. It's clearly the nature of competition for all sports throughout history.

Does USADA have jurisdiction over the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL?

Say it isn't so ... A 6'2" 250 pounds individual who runs a 4.3 40 yard dash, benches 450, squats 550 and can change directions on a dime is doping????

    I just don't believe you

Well, that was an exciting game.

But could Baltimore have done it if they weren't all doping? Who knows?

Nobody wants to watch a bunch of slow, fat, midgets playing football. Then again...maybe that'd be entertaining.

No mention of Ray Lewis' "Antler spray" that allowed him to come back from a torn triceps in 10 weeks?

    Doping forum I am disappoint.

Mostly, no, all those leagues have their own drug policies.

However, there is the Olympics angle, especially with the NBA and NHL. The NHL actually goes into hiatus during the Winter Olympics, allowing players to join their national teams. I'm not sure whether it would be USADA or the IOC directly that would ban an American player for a drug violation.

People talk about football players getting bigger over one or two generations, but have you taken a gander at the size of some of the guys in the NHL today, as compared to the 70s and 80s?

MLB and the NFL still don't test for HGH. So what do you think their dope of choice is going to be.

    Crazy.

My favorite slugger of all time, skinny little bean pole.

I'll never love a baseball player like I loved Darryl (guess how old I am...).

Any pro athlete that can benefit from not getting tired while exercising is probably doping on EPO or something similar. Ping pong...whatever.

The NFL won't care about doping until a jerk bully quarterback wins 7 Superbowls in a row. Then and only then will it matter.

Tip... Just win 6 Superbowls and quit. No returning to the sport! Ha.

Maybe 7 is okay. Just don't be so greedy or so stupid to make a comeback.
