Brake pads for Origin 8 rims

I just bought some origin 8 deep v rims for my fixie and they are really nice, but every time I brake, even a little brake, I get a loud squeal.

Part of the reason I like my fixie is because I feel like a ninja. I sneak up on people so quick its funny.

Can anyone recommend some brake pads that'll help me keep running silent?

They worked fine and quiet with the stock rims. I don't have any names of the parts, but I can post pics if needed.

Clean the rims with alcohol and scuff the pads. See how that works out.

Oh, its not cool to just sneak up on people.

I thought those wheels didn't have a CNC machined braking surface. If they don't have the braking surface then are you braking on the physical rim?

Re: Brake pads for Origin 8 rims

Not sure what you mean. I removed previous stock rim that my third set of brake pads worked nice and quiet.

Installed origin 8 rims. After about 10 taps of the brake, I started to get really loud brake squeals every time I hit the brakes.

They are so loud, I try not to use them as much as possible.

I am guessing it has something to do with the painted surface on the origin 8 rims and my stock rims are unpainted aluminum?

That's why I was wondering if there brake pads specifically for origin 8 rims.
