    2011 Kestrel Talon Race Legal?

So, I know that there are a couple thread on the net about the Talon and its legality in races. I was just wondering if the 2011 Talon was race legal.

I understand that some say that people won't be paying attention to your bike in the more novice levels of racing, but I'd really like to just get onto a bike that is completely legal. I don't want to train on the Talon just to have to switch later on. I am thinking to sell the Talon to buy a Scott Comp Elite or something comparable.

Any Talon owners that use it for racing? Thanks a million.

Your Talon seatpost should have 2 positions to mount your saddle. The front position is for a TT/Tri optimized angle/position, and the rear mounting position for a conventional road racing position.
Keep your saddle mounted in the road bike position and it should be legal for racing. Besides that, you'd be hard pressed to find a better bike for what you want to do.
