Assos T FI.Uno S5 vs Sugoi RSE Bib Shorts

I am looking for comfort and quality comparison for the Assos T FI.Uno S5 vs Sugoi RSE Bib Shorts. I will be using the bib shorts for longer rides (75+ miles). I currently have a pair of Sugoi RS bibs and the new Performance Ultra bibs.

I know this isn't one of those two but you might want to try these:

Guys at Gear and Training wouldn't say it outright because they carry other expensive bibs but indicated that these were pretty much the best out of what they carry

I have both and the quality is at a level where it doesn't really matter which is 'better' because neither will fail.

I find the Sugois a little more comfortable but that's just me. Just a better fit not anything it think is better about the design/materials.

If you already have the RS you already know enough to decide if you want the RSE or want to try another chamois. The RS and RSE are the same where it matters.

@Hank: would you say the RSE is worth the extra money over the RS?

Yeah, these are better than anything else I've ever used, just picked up my 5th pair, I won't use anything but these on rides over 50 miles.

I don't feel any better riding with them so I'd have to say no.

I ended up going with the Assos Mille F.I. S5 bib shorts. I got them from World Cycling Productions, with a 20% off code. They were just a couple of dollars more then the Uno so I figured I would give them a try. They shipped within 45 minutes of placing my order and should be here on Friday, just in time to give them a tr on my Saturday group ride. Thanks for all the help.

Awesome. Love mine, but they died prematurely (still holding up well after almost a year) due to new saddlebag rubbing.

Time to get a new pair...

I like the Sugoi RS's and have used them to 75 miles without any issue. The DeSoto 400 milers are intriguing. How do those fit? Like the Sugoi?
