    Bianchi Dreamin'

    Ya know - I always thought I was wierd because I never seemed to love Bianchi's. Whilst some of you see the world through celeste colored glasses and suffer from excessive tightening of your love raisins from eating a bowl of pea soup I have always thought the greatest contribution Bianchi ever made was the vomit scenes from The Excorcist.

    Well ... I now see the light & Ima gonna be looking for one of 'dem beauties. I dunno why but I might skip the current catalogue .... imagine one of the oldest makers of bicycles, known immediately for a specific color, then polluting it. We oughta send Mr. Sloan over to sort Bianchi HQ out a little. Imagine McDonalds dropping burgers or Malboro switching to making green tea ..... well, you know what i mean, if all the prostitutes in the world started doing it for love not money .... OK... I give up.

    Bianchi=Celeste - no? Si !!!!!!!

    ciao

    Yeah, my first road bike was a Bianchi which I bought new in 1983 for $525--looked just like the one above with Super Record but it had a mix of Nuovo Record and Ofmega parts with Universal 77 brakes. Even came with that celest water bottle and pump. Awesome looking bikes. I'm not too fond of the newer ones...

    I've had the same feelings as you (though not quite as graphic). I could never get into celeste. But I don't like seeing a Bianchi without a little celeste in it. It's like a yellow Ferrari or a red John Deere. Over the years, I've slowly grown to like celeste.

    Go Celeste and go steel.

    The ideal colors are Celeste frame with red logos and letters
