    Castelli Endurance Bib

Does anyone have experience with these bibs? I do not see much info on them, and I have the opportunity to snag them for half off from a return to the LBS.

I do not own a pair of bibs at this point, was about to try the Desoto 400 mile bibs.

Deal of the day on Competitive Cyclist too. I think I'm going to get a pair. Here is a review by some random internet dude. It looks pretty good.

I've got the Progetto X2 chamois in the Free Aero Race bib...its by far my favorite. I just ordered 3 pair of the Castelli Endurance from competitive cyclist on the strength of the similarities.

The only thing I have been able to find that may keep me from ordering is that they are extremely short, and nowhere near a 9" inseam. Can anyone comment on this?

Confirmed they are really short. My friend bought 2 pairs and they were about 4" above his knee he commented. However, he said they are very comfortable.

Just got one and it was 20% off with that code. I sure hope it's a nice bib. Anybody has any experience between these and performance ultra?

I just placed an order with Competitive Cyclist for a pair of Endurance Bib Shorts, Gpm Full Zip Short Sleeve Jersey in black and a pair of Bronzo 3 Socks. I applied the CC20AP code and got the 20% off.

If you purchased the bibs, Jersey and a pair of sock it would come to $172.19. considering that the bibs retail for $180 a pair, it be like getting the Jersey and socks for free.

UltralightHiker, thank you very very much for the code. I'm on their mailing list, but I don't remember getting an email with the code.

    Peace

Thanks for the heads up, I love the pad in these shorts. My favorite so far in all the shorts I have tried. Just gotta decide if I get one or two pair!

Thank you for telling me that they are short. I don't need short shorts. And then they are being yanked up by the straps making them even shorter. I like them long.

I've been looking at the Presto bibs but at half off and 20% I'll try these.

I'm 31/32 waist, CC's size chart is different than Castelli's. thinking I need a large but its not available so I'm trying the med.

I have a couple pairs and really like them. A good solid bib, and they are not shorter than my Assos bibs by any appreciable distance. They do go up pretty high on the back and stomach panels though. I like that becausey long torso makes jerseys seem short, but some find it a little constricting.

Wish I could have gotten in on this in my size on CC.

I always order one size larger in Castelli gear than others, and the Progetto X2 chamois really is top notch as others have mentioned.

Mine just got here and I couldn't stop myself from throwing them on and riding down the street to see how they fit. I think I am going to regret not having ordered two pair.

Mine just got here as well. I would not agree with them being excessively short. Maybe these are a newer/older version?

I am 5'11 170. I ordered a large and they fit well. The straps are a little tight around the shoulders, but these are my first bibs, they might all be like that. Can't wait to take them for a test ride.
