That's a good price. i just saw the exact same bike save for the cranks and brakes (both 105) and including the Aksiums and it was the same price but in Euros. Its not stellar and you could probably find it cheaper but it seems pretty fair to me.

Not bad price. Go for it if you fit it. Could be a tad less but it's right there amongst the "Could be better but good enough" category.

If it fits you and you like it, that's a good price.

Sounds like a good deal for a new bike to me.

I have a 2005 TCR C2. I bought it on close out for $1600. For me, it's been a very good bike. Go for it!

Do you find the tcr to be a harsh ride, for a carbon frame? I just bought an '05 c2 and took it for a 75 mile maiden voyage on Sunday. I'll admit, I went from a Reynolds 853 Lemond Zurich to this bike, but after 65 miles I started to feel beat 1/2 to death. The bike came with ksyrium SLs - are they notoriously harsh? I dropped tire pressure to 100 psi (conti ultrasport) and still have a lot of buzz. It has an ec90 seat post, ec90 handlebars, giant carbon stem, and selle aspide carbon/titanium seat. Thoughts?

Giant, at least in my experience, are not particularly notorious for their comfort...
Depending on how much you weigh, the Ksyriums aren't the most comfy of wheelsets either. i have my TCR1 alu/carbon set up with K SLs, and it definately beats me up past the 60 mile mark, but it climbs very wheel and seems very stiff in the sprints...

I picked up a Blue Nx7 instead, the TCR was too small.

I haven't ridden many other carbon fiber bikes, but when I switch between my 05 TCR C2 & my 84 Steel Bianchi, I definitely notice a softer ride provided by the Bianchi. Material types aside, the TCR is not meant to be a comfort bike, it's made to be a stiff racing bike. OCR is Giant's more comfort driven line.
