the cheaper versions of Sidi's fit me great. it's when i went to the genuis and 5s that i have fit problems. so that would work for me.

Funny... my box from Chain Reaction arrived today also. I got the white ones and, holy shot, they are light. Sidi ergo 2's felt like anchors in comparison. I haven't used them yet or even bolted cleats on, but they look and feel impressive.

Those look like the Sidi Zephers that we just go into our store yesterday. Same velcro straps, same sole, heel plate is different.
    You can't fix stupid.

    Similar, but not the same.

To point out some obvious differences, the second velcro strap on the Giro shoe wraps at the middle rather than extending across the entire top of the foot like normal velcro straps, and those on the Sidi Zephyrs, do.

The sole of the Giro ProLight shoes are Easton EC90 carbon. The Sidi Zephyr uses carbon composite.

They are pretty much only similar in appearance at a brief glance.

I was wondering how you feel sizing and fit of the SLX's compares to Sidi's.

I use 43.5 Sidis at present and the 43 in the Prolight seems to be equivalent.

I wear 44 Sidi and 43.5 in Giro.
Comfortable fit, very snug will have more when I go for a longer ride tomorrow.
