    Ibex Out of Business

I went onto the web-site to see if the 2010 X-Ray had been introduced yet & saw they are shut down. Looks like they might reopen under new management. Anyone have details?

I don't have any info on them but I was wondering what was going on and why their bikes kept saying out of stock for so long.

Well that sucks. I have an Asta X-9 mountain bike that I bought from them about two years ago, and I couldn't be happier. It easily outrides a lot of the "name brand" bikes that my trail mates ride, and has literally been bomb-proof. I was actually considering one of their flat bar roadies to turn into a commuter....hopefully they'll rebound with new management. This seemed to be one of the few internet retailers that got it right.

Considering that the owner was pretty much an a$$hat on MTBR to his customers, and there were plenty of inappropriate things going on, I'm somewhat not surprised. Relying on word of mouth and internet advertising will get you nowhere if you insult your (potential) customers and people use things like AdBlock.

Oh well, maybe someone who isn't a jerk will take over the brand.
