Imagine President Trump declaring, since he cannot issue a "pardon" for Lance, that instead he will bring back this one-of-a-kind wonderful American (Trump's words) into the WH to keep helping "Make America Great Again." Maybe give Lance a newly created "United States National Sports Director", or even better, strong-arming the board and have Lance appointed head USADA.

Every one deserves a second chance, is that not the American way, or is it different depending on your own personal view (lol)?

If Trump did the above, you would watch many people, especially on these forums, immediately commit self-immolation. Between their knee-jerk-obsessive-bordering-on-pyschotic responses to anything, any little thing, President Trump says and/or does, bringing Lance back into the U.S. political orbit, prominently, with that Texas-Chainsaw-swagger in the limelight again-------------my God.....these people's heads would explode......LOL
Your conflation of Trump and Lance is bizarre if not comical.
I do wish that Trump brings back Hope Hicks because she is so hot tho. She was at his rally last night and flew on Airforce 1. Hope springs eternal. One of the best faces I have ever seen.

In bold however, I agree to a point but am old enough to know that not all can be rehabilitated. Child molesters for example can't be so the science says. I am not sure the brain of sociopath can be reconfigured by 'will'. First it takes free will. Take a psyche course. DNA trumps environment.

No photo ops for Trump and Lance.
But...Trump, Lance, Bill Clinton, Barkley, Tiger may all privately meet together to party at the Kremlin with Putin and his finest hookers all while the left has a conniption...lol.

Lance and Donald are cut from the same cloth.

How some can’t see this is where the real mystery lies.

Wow! So bringing up the idea that racism exists is racist, that's an interesting take.

So explain it then ( oh, you're gone, maybe someone else). A guy is displaying superhuman performance year after year. There are positive dope tests and the people that speak the truth about his using PEDs get kicked to the curb by his financial partners (sponsors). A sizable percentage of the public, like some on RBR (who you thunk would have known better), are willing to give him a pass and hold him up as a hero. Do you really in your heart of hearts not think that Lance being a good ole boy from Texas had no impact on his popularity? Let's see how Major Taylor was treated for a historical perspective? No racism there either? When did it stop and the US become post racial and the very idea of it being a factor become verboten? Has it been and gone? I must have missed it.Sorry for sleeping. Maybe I can find it on youtube.

Actually lance sells cold brew ice coffee. I was going to pick up a can today at Whole Foods, just for the hell of it, but could not find it.
The MOVE podcast with George Hincapie and some other asshat is actually really good.

Not worth listening to. What a complete shithead of a person. He needs to disappear from public view. i can't believe people actually pay him for his crap. And I don't know why people still feel compelled to try to argue such garbage in support of him.

So by you logic we shouldn't expect to see Ray Lewis inducted into the NFL HOF, Michael Vick will be out of football forever and Mike Tyson won't be in the movies and...........wait a minute!

It seems odd to hold up Flojo and Kaepernick as your two examples to contrast with Armstrong. Flojo had a great career pre and post track and field and retired on her own. Kaepernick has plenty of support now and as time goes on I suspect that people will come around to see things his way. He's in the middle of this whole thing right now. Let's give it a few years and see how people feel about him then.

I like LA's podcast, but I don't sit there and wonder about whether or not he's a good dude. I just enjoy the content that he and big George provide. Then again I was never shocked that he and just about everybody else was cheating to begin with.

Tiger got crushed today at Bridgestone. He got beat by everybody he played with all week. He is a broken down old man in golf years. A little inside baseball for you because its clear you don't know golf. Tiger's body is acting up again. He couldn't get out of his own way today. He looked like a club player out there shooting 73 and getting lapped by the field. It is written all over his body language. He knows it and so do the those that understand the game you don't. Will see if he even shows at the PGA next week. He will get crushed there as well. He is no better than a club pro now with his broken down body. Now his body fits his mind. One of the most selfish people ever to walk the planet let alone play on tour.

I am loving watching him get beat.

    Kiwi,
you didn't read the memo. If you talk about any black sports figure in a pejorative manner, you are a racist. But, you can slam Lance because of what he's done and you aren't racist, simply speaking the truth because he's white. Oh and, only white guys are racist. Nobody black is racist. Even Lewis Farrakhan and Reverend Wright. See how that works?

i love posts like this, because they're so easy to refute with simple logic. here's current year stats:

tiger woods pga tour money rank = 43
tiger woods world golf ranking = 50
tiger woods wgc finish today = 31st

the wgc (there are four of them each year) is a who's who of the best of the best 75 golfers in the world.

there was another pga tounament this week of all the rest, those not in the top 50 nor invited to the wgc. these 150 tour golfers are just trying to make the fedex cup. i wonder how many club pros were in that. my guess is none.

Vick and Tyson did jail time. Ray Lewis is guilty of what exactly? OOJ misdemeanor? However should we be holding the NFL and Hollywood as paragons of moral standing? I don't watch NFL or whatever dribble Tyson is in. FYI Tyson can't get entry into NZ cause he is a rapist. Just because the entertainment industry tries and spins what is okay, does that make the standard for all of us? Unprotected sex might sell porn but it's not a lifestyle choice most of us should emulate.

despite all all the rumors and numerous tests, yes. She was assumed guilty by many despite proven innocence and Armstrong was presumed innocent despite proven to be a doper. Contrast.

I agree. But the initial and persistent reaction by a large number was to spin him as disrespectful rather than as having a point to make. They say sports shouldn't be poltical but are happy to have the NFL charge the very heroes they "support" millions of dollars every year to celebrate their sacrifice. How can you take millions away from veterans to advertise that you support the veterans and get buy in from people that think the first amendment shouldn't apply to all equally. So yeah, Lance likely gets a pass partly cause of his color and background.

I was a big LA fan back when he won the rainbow jersey despite crashing three times on the rain soaked course, I watched it live. After the revelations came out about his treatment of others and his public outing of Lemond's child abuse in defense of his own cheating I decided not to support him anymore. I have some Hincapie gear, very well made cycling kit but I have no desire to hear his cheating lies. Well maybe they aren't lies but you know what they say about leopards and spots.

Naw man just pointing out the grossly obvious racist rant and POV YOU are pitching. Don't try to wishy-washy sugar coat behind a bunch of BS. Apparently, you are also a coward too when it comes to owning up. Well, the two commonly go together.
