    need roller belt

    broke another roller belt - can't remember where i bought it - suggestions?

    Try suspenders, braces to some. They are a good substitute if your belt rolls off your belly.

    Get a Kreitler belt (www.kreitler.com). They last forever.

    ok, got a gem handed to me today from a local cycling guru...

    don't waste your time with belts, just use parachute cord. tie a really tight knot and then melt it down a bit and ta-da.

    seems to work great. much cheaper and immediate since i happen to have some cord in the backpacking gear.

    it's never a wrong time to work on balance. i'm only doing 10-15 minute rides at the moment. haven't been on the rollers for years. once winter comes around, i won't have to waste a month learning how to ride on them.

    my rollers are from the mid 80's - Rotos - i found a source in the UK for parts, but the parachute cord seems to be a cheap and quick solution. how well it works is to be seen.
