New crank day! Put a 105 crank on my 8 speed domane al 2, shifts so much better now!

It came stock with a cheap vulva aseto crank and it always had trouble shifting between the chain rings....but I got this 105 crank with an ultegra bottom bracket (so i can put a stages power meter on my bike ) and omg it just shifts so silky smooth and works amazing, even though its an 11 speed crank on a 8 speed bike. Apparently it's because even though the chain widths of different speed bikes are different, the actual surface of the rollers stays the same.

A while ago I test rode a specialized roubiax and it was a tiagra groupset and I was in love with how it shifted and it felt like heaven compared to my claris, but now I daresay that with this new chainset I feel the shifting quality is just as good!
