Pip Pants vs Tights

Hi,

What is the difference, use wise between bib pants and tights? I assume they are both for cool/cold weather riding.

Bibs are have built in suspenders to hold up the britches. Usually cycling specific have some sort of padding (chamois).

you can use bib shorts, bib knickers or bib tights. w/o the bib they're known as shorts, knickers or tights. a lot of folks will wear regular tights over their padded shorts/bib shorts when it's cold. i'll let you figure out what your particular weather conditions call for.

Thanks. I see. I was comparing bib pants to padded tights. It's basically preferrence. Bib shorts vs shorts, that sort thing. I thought perhaps there was some sort of technical difference between the two.
