Seperate Forum for Saddles/Seatposts?
I posted the following in the Site/Feedback forum:
"Saddles are a frequent topic and one most riders have a significant interest. Saddle discussions are in various forums. How about a seperate forum like the one for wheels and tires?"
Saddles are a topic of lots of threads through various forums-much in the General Forum. What about a seperate forum for saddles and seatposts(sort of goes with a lot of saddle issues)?

There are too many fora as it is. I wouldn't mind seeing many combined.

Good luck with that! I floated a request for a clothing forum and the curmudgeons here shot it down quick, even though there are numerous Qs a day about clothes, shoes, helmets etc. scattered throughout the other forums.
That being said, I don't think a saddle forum is needed- those 'posts' are appropriate for the Components forum.
Why is there an Endurance & Tandem forum, anyway?

I definitely think there should be a clothing forum, doesn't seem like there is a natural place to post clothing questions and it really is a huge part of the sport.

First, we have to learn how to spell separate ("E" on each end, "A" in the middle).

How about a brake hood forum? In fact we could have a "Left Brake Hood Forum" and a "Right Brake Hood Forum"!!

I can see a section for clothing, but it's somewhat similar to a saddle and seatpost section would be like: It's all a matter of personal preference, and what works best for you.
The differences with a clothing section would be about what's best to wear during certain weather. Common questions such as "what's the best bibs?" would get many debates going.

That is ridiculous...
How could we only have those two? Where would we post about brake levers and hoods that can be use on either side? In both forms?! At the same time?! Insanity.

Nice idea but, I don't think it would work. Look how many posts there are in "general" about tires, wheels, what bike should I get for my 1st one, mechanical stuff, frame materials, and even questions regarding whether or not Treks are good bikes. Lots of people are going to post stuff without regard to the forum title.
You know that little thing in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? ......Yeah, I don't have one of those..

Saddles are to much of a personal preference component to get great feedback on them, what is comfortable for one rider may be uncomfortable for another.
