Sidi ERGO 3 speedplay

I need new Sidi shoes but hate the white shoe that comes with the ERGO 3 speedplay sole. Is there much of a difference if I get the regular sole and add the adapters and shim to fit my speedplay cleats ??

Not much. Pretty thin. Plus you can use the far less expensive Sidi shoes.
