Size comparison, SUGOi vs other brands (Pearl)

I am trying to buy a pair of SUGOi cycling shorts, and I'm a little unsure about size.
I have one of their jerseys, and it fits snugly in a large.

I wear medium in all Pearl Izumi, and the fit is good.

Do SUGOi clothes run small? If they do, I may need a large, if they run close to true size, I would go with medium.

    Thanks,

    Peter

PI medium shorts fit me great and I recently got 2 medium Sugoi RS shorts and found they run a bit smaller, but still fit. I sort of like them on the tight side though. The one thing you might notice about those shorts is that they seem long in the top, meaning you can pull them up to look like Ed Grimley so you definitely will not have any crack showing or chamois moving around like so many bib proponents complain about being the case with shorts. I love the shorts.

I take a medium in every bib short I've ever tried and Sugoi are the most snug (snug in a good way) I have not tried on any PI though.
I found Sugoi's size chart to be accurate.....but my waist measurement isn't in between sizes so that would be a given I guess.

I found that the medium Sugoi shorts fit a bit snugger than the medium PI, but the Sugoi seemed like they would fit a person built like Forrest Gump better than myself.

Yup, I have to agree with everyone, both bibs and jerseys,.. Sugoi is a little bit tighter than PI... but they still fit great!

A bit tight of a fit, but they offer a racy or skin tight fit in some styles. I love their bib shorts I have 2 pair, the leg length is a bit short as it doesn't come down to the knees, but I prefer that.

I'm 5"10 180 lbs 32" waist. I wear medium bibs in PI, Santini, Garneau and Cannondale. I have yet to find a pair of Sugoi bibs that I can get over my thighs and have tried their XL's. I believe they are cut for skinny legged riders. The shirts I wear in a large to xl but the bibs are another matter.
