Giro Prolite $129 at Performance stores

I bought a Giro Prolite yesterday for $129 at a Performance store. The manager explained that it is a closeout price available in store only, no special order for color choice or size.

I bought a Giro Atmos for $99 at Performance and they had last year's Ionos for $119 too.

Wow, $129 for a piece of styrofoam and a molded plastic shell. What's the world coming to?

The retention system on the prolight sucks, it's how they shaved the weight off the helmet.

That's a bad idea if you're interested in keeping the helmet firmly stuck to your head in a wreck.
