I agree. I have 2 in medium and 1 in large after all said and done. They have some amazing chamois. All around great garment and at that price, a no-brainer.

correct. after having the tights for a few weeks, i can say they are fantastic. lowest it's gone is 30s and i was plenty comfy. not sure how the non-windstopper tights are, but these are great.

Yeah a little late to the party here too.

    How do these compare?

Louis Garneau Gemini 2 Bib Tights?

I've had The Gore Xenon SO bib for quite some time, and all I can say is that I should have gotten 2 of those. Very wind proof, dries quite fast, and the best Chamois I have used so far. I have some Pearl Izumi, Castelli, Capo, and Louis Garneau stuff, but Gore has just moved to the top of my personal list.

This LG Gemini bib is a very good one, but Gore's chamois is the best, and for 50+ miles rides it makes a lot of difference.

What are the LG sizes like? I'm 5'11" and 34-36" waist. Should I get L or XL?

    Any ideas?

36" waist, i'd probably go XL and it'll fit like a glove.
I fall at the top recommended waist for mediums, and own a pair but tend to wear my large more often, just so i dont have to fight with a) getting it over my ankles and b) the waist is as form fitting as can be, fine when i'm wearing them, but nonetheless a good fight to get on.
