    $157.46 to spend at backcountry.com

I have a credit to spend. I did not know they have such a variety of stuff I might want. I can always use bike repair tools, a new helmet, or a pair of sunglasses. What would you buy? I already have a puffy jacket and convertible pants

I need new low top hiking shoes. I noticed that the tread on my Morrels is nearly gone, and the rubber part of the sole that wraps up the toe is coming loose. I think they run just over $100. The left over would always cover yet another Swiss Army knife. Can't have too many pocket knives.

Matching top as well. Not quite enough coverage in front though...

$157.46 will only get you a one-legged dwarf with a glass eye and a tube of model glue.

At least that's all I could manage.

I got a ton of my kayaking gear from backcountry.

Get a good pair of hiking/backpacking rain pants. They are good for backcountry, but also sitting in a stadium in the rain and the like.

I have a shiny red helmet in my cart, but I can't seem to find a quality helmet polisher on their website. Weird.

If you don't actually need/want anything.......tubes, chains, cassette(s) and brake pads are something you'll eventually use. Consumables, in other words.

I want many things, but I ended up with a Bell helmet, some wool socks, and I bought the wife a Moving Comfort bra. I'm a sweetheart, I know.
