Yep, not smart. He has a history of not making very smart decisions off the field. On a personal note, I need to drop him from my fantasy football league now as he was one of my keepers.

I saw that this morning and had pretty much the same response.

u of f
has a history of players going way waaay beyond...on the one hand.
on the other, i doubt that anyone, even an alumnus of blockhead u, would be stupid enough to try to kill somebody then just drive home and start destroying syht. he probably knows something, but if the cops havent knocked him yet, i doubt if its gonna be for pulling a trigger

At a minimum it sounds like they have him for obstruction and conspiracy. I think the cops are being professional and methodical. They know he is not going anywhere.
I wouldn't be so sure.
It will be interesting to see who rolls first.

It's Ray Lewis all over again.
My guess is one of his "boys" killed the dude and now he's trying to protect him.
But then again, these things are doing are so blatant (giving cops a shattered phone, hiring a cleanup crew, destroying home surveillance system) that maybe he pulled the trigger himself. Or at least helped dispose of the body.

You were keeping a back up tight end? How many keepers does your league have?

Not only did I have Hernandez on my fantasy team last season, I also had Titus Young! Leave it to me to pick the 2 players who would run into big-time trouble with the law. In case you're wondering who gets arrested a year from now, I'll send you my team's roster for the upcoming season.

Very sad. I really hope it's not true - everything is just media reports - but if it is true it's pretty damming.

Aaron Hernandez ... WTF
He has a history that isn't very flattering.
What the cops think and what they can prove isn't always the same.

You have a deal, and I will do the same. Couple of years ago I had Plaxico Burress.

I know, now I might have to go after a TE really early. Everyone will be after jimmy graham now.

Tebow is big enough to be a tight end. It was were he was probably heading anyway. Receivers who have been quarterbacks know the offense and can read the defense to get open. Win-win.
The stupidity of professional athletes is amazing. They live in a fantasy world because they've been shielded from reality for so long. Someone always cleaned up their mess because they could play football so well.

Does anyone know if tebow can catch in traffic? He's never done it.

He also isn't the best at reading defenses.

good thing he destroyed that cell phone. now there is no way to track who he called or when he called them. phew. very smart move on his part. he is Teflon now.
len: tebow might catch better in traffic than he throws in traffic.
wtf happened to the pats this offseason? I know the season hasn't started, but it already looks bad. yeah, brady is still upright for the time being, but who is he gonna throw to? who is gonna run the ball? this will be a challenge for bb, but he loves that.
maybe its all prep to tank the season and get the first pick in the draft next year.

Or how about blocking? That is what sets a good tight end apart from a fat receiver.
