Any Facebook employees in the house?

In the wake of recent news stories about Russian use of FB to "meddle" in the 2016 election, I saw this news item that FB is planning to double its 10,000-person safety and security staff by end of 2018. That staff is already almost half of their 20,658 total workforce. https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/31/face...0-in-2018.html

I was absolutely flabbergasted that FB employed that many people, let alone so many who work on "safety and security". So if any of those folks are on this forum, I would just be interested in hearing about what you actually do. I'm pretty skilled at surfing the internet, so I'm thinking there might be a career opportunity for me.
    Insert something clever here:

For so many people to get their 'news' from facebook is ridiculous. That is the most insane thing uncovered so far. We already know russia is not our friend.

I've had a FB account for years. But I don't really use FB. Don't know how. Don't even know where to look to find out how to make use of FB. I guess I could use Google to look up "how to use FB," but I haven't been that interested. I still read a newspaper for news. Yes, I'm over 60; be 69 next week.

Being Facebook, I'm certain that most of those are from-home, part time working piecemeal.

We just don’t realize the most significant moments of our lives when they’re happening
Back then I thought “well there'll be other days”
I didn’t realize that was the only day

    There's sometimes a buggy.
How many drivers does a buggy have?
    One.
So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...

I’m convinced that Russian hackers have convinced the American public that chicken and waffles is a good thing to eat. I mean come on...it’s chicken on top of a waffle....how can that be so good??? A sure sign that Americans have lost their minds.

It's a very broad category if you think about it. Everything from back end security to dealing with complaints about other users.

Here's some sample jobs in the areas:
