    Get Oakleys.

    I've become a serious fanboy.

I prefer Radars. No frame means better visibility when you're glancing behind you for traffic). Polarized, iridium lenses are some of the best lenses I've ever had on sunglasses. And the lens comes out easily if you wan to swap with clears.

(You might notice, it seems like the majority of Tour riders are wearing Radars these days.)

My wife tried some out last weekend, but ended up ordering the Smith Parallel's instead. I was there. Got questions?

i have been looking at the white jawbone with the jade iridium lens

My biggest concern with the Smith are the lens/arm connectivity. It's done through a small hole in the lens. If it cracks, game over.

Well, the lense is definately a structural element. Seems to have enough curvature to it to maintain shape. Didn't feel particularly flimsy. I didn't look all that closely at the mechanism for attaching the ear pieces (the PivLock) but it seemed to work fairly well. My wife swapped lenses there in the store (REI) without any issues. It must have some sort of cam, as it took a bit of effort to engage and disengage.

Smith's warranty is amazing and I'd be shocked if that cracked and they didn't help you out.

Save your money and buy Tifosi's. Bought Logics against the complaints about breaking nose pieces here and since February, mine's still intact. Everyone else has ape fingers.

I have been using them for well over two years, for all purposes. No complaints at all. Good sunglasses.

The Pivlocks are pretty sweet! I had the chance to review these a short while ago. The lens changing is easy and they have a max version for big coverage. And re: the arms breaking -- Smith warranties these for life, so you should be taken care of:

I've got the regular sized Pivlock's and love 'em. Can't see frame anywhere in the ordinary course of events, even in a tight tuck when looking straight out through the top of the glasses.
