Best efficient economical courier services to different countries?

    Hi,
I am from India and have already bought a bike and am looking out for a courier service which would pick up the bike for me from the sellers place and ship it to my country India.
would appreciate if any on could give me contact details for the same.

Google "pack and ship"--you'll come up with some choices including the UPS stores, but there may be someone local as well.

Another possibility would be Excess Baggage--although I'm not sure that they pack, so maybe have a local bike shop pack (if the seller would drop it off) and then have Excess Baggage do the shipping.

(They also have a bunch of competitors now--there was an article in the NYTimes recently--if you wanted to get some other prices...)

You may have trouble getting a good rate from anyone though.

I hate to say it, but it might be cheaper to pick it up yourself. There really aren't any "cheap" options that I know of.
