    Breaking Bad premiere

    Yawn.

The first 90 seconds were interesting. The rest of the show was a snooze. And then they continue to mete out punishment by putting the previews 12 minutes into that dreck they call a new series.

I'm about as disappointed as I was in season 2.
You'd be better off with a netbook, they do everything better.

Indeed, it was a bit slow. They need to get cookin again.

Walters character is shaping up nicely though, his balls are getting bigger.

Wasn't much to it, particularly in lieu of the hype leading up. I was fully prepared to be "wowed" and was thus doubly let down.

The future flash at the start was intriguing however.

I can't believe they kept Beneke alive...That was a bit of a disappointment.

I like that they are still bumbling criminals, but at the same time figuring out how to be Kingpins. Love the show and wasn't nearly as disappointed as it seems others may have been.

Somewhat Ironically, just as Walt pushed the electromagnetic button for the laptop test, the power went out in my neighborhood. I missed the rest of the show and it obviously didn't record on my DVR either, so I can't report as to whether I did or didn't like it. I'll have to wait until it's shown again or shows up on OnDemand.

I did like the fact that it seemed like their troubles were over at the end of the last season, but in fact they weren't.

That magnet was strong to reach all the way to PA.

Irony or coincidence - watching the Tour yesterday my cable went out when Sanchez was about 500 meters from the line.

You can watch the whole episode in HD on the AMC website.

Now last night's episode was another story. That should have been the premier.

I liked them equally, and they are doing a really good job of building suspense and drama. I'm interested to see how we get from here to the opening scene of the premier.

How many episodes are there in this season? Is it the last?

I heard/read somewhere AMC is going to split this last season over two years.

I'm partial to Masterpiece on PBS, Sunday nights. Breaking Bad is easier to catch at a later time.

Yeah, eight episodes and then another eight next year, or something.

    I'm lucky - BB from 8-9 and Masterpiece 9-1030.
