Can't say I'm shocked. After all he only gradumacated cause he can play ball. He came through Miami in the late 80's and early 90's when all that BS was going on. He just a product of a corrupt Shiite system. Not an excuse and I am in no way defending him but am really not surprised either.
In the end won't matter as some one mentioned this doesn't go away with bankruptcy cause court will garnish his wages till he dies or is paid up

He's been arrested for domestic abuse and battery, and then there's also this little gem from him:

I read somewhere that something like 80% of all professionl football players declare backruptcy at some point post career. It's clear that few are adequately prepared for understanding what they can spend and what they can't and for how long.

That being said, Sapp has always been an A$$.

As a finance guy, it's hard to imagine making $540K/year ($45K/mo) w the NFL network and having to declare Bankruptcy.

OTOH, if you approach every buy decision with; 'Well, I make $540K/year, I can afford that....it's not hard to see the outcome.
