Whoa! the mid season finale was pretty good. I'm pleasantly surprise that this show has finally found a direction and a lead character in Madison. In essence it's the "Walking Dead" with a lady version of Rick Grimes. This leads to one of the lamest exits of a lead character in a TV series-Travis. Super lame.

What did I say two years ago, in post #6?:

System: They were smart enough to cast Kim Dickens [Madison], the memorable lady detective from Gone Girl, in a lead role. If the show is largely centered around her going forward, that'll be a huge plus. She should be the 'Rick' of the show, if anything.
System: Fake news?? Trump is a Fake President™, for god's sake.

Monk: I want to go like my Dad did – peacefully, in his sleep, not screaming in terror like his passengers.

Plat: I'd rather fellate a syphilitic goat than own a Cervelo.

EJ Dionne: Modern-day conservatism isn't conservatism. It's reaction rooted in deep pessimism that isn't in keeping with the American character.

Seam: Saw Bjork poop onstage back in the day. It blew my teenage mind.

Zombies have been a thing for 50 years now, ever since Night of the Living Dead.

Seems like they've made it past the 'fad' phase.

Do not laugh. We're producing a series where actual actors ask questions like,

    (1) Okay, I'm recently 48 and thinking about being intimate with the Superintendent?
    (2) Is it bad to use a Prior Year Actual to describe a past boyfriend?
    (3) Frost Free does not mean we own the emoticon with our refrigerator?

It's all about the audience. Nothing more or less.
In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
Ben Franklin -Tis curious and amazing to observe how distinct and independent of each other the rattles of this animal are, and yet how firmly they are united together

there have been 1,000 movies made about zombies. 984 of them have been made since 2000.

but what's not to love about fads? i'm playing with my ouija board right now in front of all my troll dolls and cabbage patch kids while wearing my rainbow wig and platform heels!

I'm firmly in the camp that Walking Dead has jumped the shark and somehow Fear has become far more interesting.

If your fad is practically old enough to vote, drive, and enter into matrimony... well, it's making a mockery of the term 'fad', whether one chooses to acknowledge it or not.

Zombies are a reflection of a post-9/11 world, mass paranoia, and a fear of the 'other'. IOW, get used to 'em. They aren't goin' away any time soon.
