First Macro Day Out - Bug Content!!!

So, I switched equipment up at the end of last year. It's finally nice weather...that means bugs, spiders, flowers, tiny stuff etc. all are about to get their photographs made...

My new MP-E 65 is extremely difficult to use. Even for me. I had loads of practice at 1-2.5x life size. This lens does 1-5x life size all in one neat little package.

Anyway. Went to the park, girls played on swings, I looked for bugs.

    I have a happy kid.

    The bugs/flowers/spiders.

Not sure if I like the odd shaped out-of-focus highlights.

don't know where the watermark came from

Extremely proud of this one. This guy was honestly 2 millimeters long. TINY.

Nice work, as usual, of course. 4 and 5 stand out for their awesomeness.

Very nice - #6 speaks to me, the vertical aspect fits the spider shape nicely.

Interested in more information about the challenges you had using this lens combo.
