Mapie is a conventional looking former Hollywood bon viveur, now leading a quiet life in a house made of wood by an isolated beach. He has cultivated a taste for culture, and is a celebrated raconteur amongst his local associates, who are artists, actors, and other leftfield/eccentric types. I imagine he has a telescope, and an unusual sculpture outside his front door. He is also a beach comber. The Rydster.

There's something very sadly ironic about that spot.

Get a convertible, bring it to Paso. I'll take care of it for you.

H'wood -- Van Nuys Blvd. Just north of the Ventura Fwy. West side of street. There are a couple Rolls-Royces there, too, just in case you prefer Grey Poupon to French's.

Nice. I don't think I could park any of them in my garage. Too long.

Aww yeah! I've always wanted a 70's Eldo convertible, like the one in the first pic. I'd prefer red w/ white top and interior though.

Jim -- I may be wrong, but I think that's a Coupe de Ville. Very long. Only two doors. Eldos were Cadillac's shorter 'sports' model.

Dr. R. -- The place was closed. I pretty much had free rein. I wish I could've gotten into the showroom, though. I think they actually had a Pre-War specimen.
