    Hey boyz and girlz

I know I don't post much, but THE LOUNGE stills has a place in my heart. I've been busy with house renovations...my sister and I now own our parents house (I may have talked about this previously) Anyway, we've been tearing out 1960's paneling, painting, re-upholstering some wonderful mid-century furniture, and generally making ourselves a home. New puppy Ruby is now 1 year old, and still has the major corgi attitude. Good thing she's cute.

The world of the Book of Face is getting to be a bit much...I think I'll try to visit the safe space of The Lounge more often.

I leave you with a grown up Ruby...who is in fact a couple of pounds overweight.

Shes a beautiful puppy, and that looks like a fun place.

Good luck with the housework, and as always, stop in to pick our brains.

    See you around.

    Isn't renovation fun????

T0G has been working on his house for 20 years--I'm now over 10 and counting.

    Puppy is handsome!

Nice that you picked up some mid-century stuff--we have a few pieces that we picked up along the way when things were cheaper, but had to pass on some others that we were offered by my lovely wife's godmother, because fair value put them way, way out of our reach...

My favorite (but unaffordable) piece that we have the perfect place for is this Jacobsen lamp--this one is copper (and more rare--but we also like the silver versoinHey boyz and girlz-cupfer.jpg
"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year olds life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

Nice to see a familiar "face"! I still haven't tried FB, which is for the best I'm sure.

We have a mid-century house that could use a bunch more updates.

So, the plan is working out perfectly then!

As a reward for your goodness, have some corgi memes:
