    Hoboken Views...including the Freedom Tower.

n Hoboken this morning--best known as the birthplace of Frank Sinatra, and (it is claimed), baseball. Three shots--the new Freedom Tower on the southern tip of Manhattan, the Empire State building directly across the Hudson River, and the tower of the Hoboken train station (you can partly see the Lackawanna of the eponymous Erie and Lackawanna Railroad who built the station).

The station flooded during Hurricane Sandy, and is still being repaired. This was also the embarkation point for American soldiers during the Great War--the pier of one of the steamship lines is now a park and where most of the pictures were taken.

Real winter today--with the wind whipping across the Hudson. Brrrrr. Last shot is the mighty river.
(Cell phone shots with the wind howling--couldn't even see well enough to frame them accurately...but enjoy)

Hoboken has hot chicks. Please post photos of the hot chicks.
Whenever the legislators endeavour to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience, and are left to the common refuge which God hath provided for all men against force and violence - John Locke
