    I have a desire

    To go shooting!
I just bought a bunch of ammo and my .45 needs a work out.

I need to release my frustrations. My furniture delivery got pushed to Saturday...thanks for not calling shipping company and the window install got pushed to tomorrow due to rain...omgwtfbbq

So are you shooting the old furniture or just the windows?

Popping holes in paper targets gets old after a while. I highly recommend going to a safe outdoor location away from town and blasting objects filled with water. Plastic bottles, aluminum cans, over ripe melons, you name it!

So, is the Springfield 45 your conceal carry choice?

    I CCW a Kimber.

I have a Sig 229 9mm that I was going to CCW but its a bit thick.. the 1911 is really thin and fits in my waistband holster very well..

That choice is a Sprindfield XD Sub-Compact 3" (.40 Cal) with a grip extension (12 round).

Though, I could do the 45 compact, also.

I want a 229 so bad I could almost sell my kids.

I'm currently carrying either a Glock 26 or a S&W Airweight; depending on the day.

I teach a CCW class and have really grown fond of the XD's too. Don't care much for the safety on the backstrap, though. Their sub-compacts are sweet.

XD Fan here.... I CCW an XD 45 Compact in a Comp-Tac Minotaur. Nice holster, it is all day long comfortable.

I'd like to get a nicer 1911 & start carrying it instead, I seem to be much more accurate with them than the XD.

3 x cheers for the 1911 comments. I would love one, but I feel maybe I am not old enough, yet.

The 1911 strikes me as my dad's gun...that s not a slight agin' the 1911

Nice video of the bowling pin match. I especially liked seeing the guy using the N-frame SW revolver with the dot sight. I've got two 625s in .45acp and, with some trigger work and plenty of practice, they are sweet and accurate.

I have a rather strong desire to shoot a can of ready whip topping with a shotgun... I think it would make a pretty cool explosion

    Yum!
