    learn me about shoez plz. Just ebayed something for majority of what I owe on my bike so next paycheck should be shoez/pedals.

    I had similar shoes... but they weren't mavic, they were adidas... and they weren't road shoz they were mtb...

    and they didn't fit me so I had to sell them... bought them $100 sold them $200 really

    thing 1: they are worth paying the LBS markup. try them on. different brands fit in very different ways.

    thing 2: the other carp is mostly hype. fit is everything.

    oh... and I recently realized that ... the same way I cant afford a luxury BMW or Mercedes Benz I can't afford a 5000+ usd road bike...

    so a $1500~ would be nice to begin with
