I'll check out the next beta when they move, or let me move, the 'refresh' and 'stop' buttons back to the left-side, where they belong.

Does it still **** Google Maps all up?

Great, another volume of work-arounds to be discovered. I'm still required to test in 5.5-7... add another one.

Google maps was fixed for IE8 Beta 1 anyways. It should work in Beta 2, but I haven't given it a try.

Never-the-less, you can use a simple meta tag to make IE8 work in backwards compatibility mode (wrong CSS).

Btw, IE8 from what I have read is more standards compliant than Mozilla, however Beta 1 was incredibly incomplete.

Vat is this 'IE' you speak uv?

Seriously, there's so many better alternatives. Even at work, I don't use IE.

And the problem with windows crashing IE.

Firefox or Safari for me. I haven't used IE in 5 years, with good reason.

Ah the competition for Microsoft is stiff. It is a bunch of people who just hate them for being them and people who complain no matter what they do.
