    Music

So when its safe to listen to music while riding or training or even cleaning your bike what kind of music do you listen to ?

I've always been a fan of loud electric guitars so the list goes something like this:
    AC/DC
    Ozzy
    Iron Mainden
    Kiss
    Dio / Rainbow
    Judas Priest
    Megadeath
    Metalica
    Guns & Roses
    Social Distortion
    Ramons

    For some strange reason

Southern Culture On The Skids works best for me when I'm wrenching/tinkering. When I'm on a particularly brutal climb or simply not having fun "Flagpole Sitta" usually pops into my head, but when I'm bonking hard all I ever hear is "Cheeseburger In Paradise."

    Great list! Dude!

Can you guess what great band is missing from your list that at least 5 on your list cite as an influence? Huh? Well, can ya? : )
(if I were you, I'd take that K band off that list, you're clearly overqualified to listen to that schmaltz) And I hope that's mostly pre '80 AzeeDeezee your listing to! -Riff Raff for example- although BinB is great(Scott wrote most of that record anyway)

I often listen to Kraftwerk, Bethoven or Tchaicovski(sp) during pre-ride prep around the house. (don't know why really).
    During? yeah right...
After: nothing, I love the quiet calm feeling and just relaxing , cleaning the bike...

    Bang your head!

    Yup...seen them thrice myself.

Their best show to date had Deadbolt opening for them--darkly humorous rockabilly.

Brittney Spears and who??? Oh yeah that "boy band" they don't make music they dance to it

Just so people don't think that I am the complete "metal head" I do listen to other music. Some classical (usually while catching up on computer work) Some county (NOT the Dixie Chicks) I like old Jazz and Big Band stuff like Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra.

I was once told there are only two kinds of music.....good and bad

    PS

Rap is not music its a rhyme with lots of four letter words.

    Nice bump, too.

    Are you still riding?
"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."
