After really listening to her [Meg Myers] you're absolutely on point. My affliction toward her music was purely based off on a short moment listening to something that may have been said a thousand times over.

Again, well stated. Almost as if the dim lit bar brought beauty and the following morning drew a shame.

    Great post on your part.

    Back to some Stevie Nicks.

thanks. I just call it like I see it from years of doing it. Susan is a very talented actress as well. She's based out of Marin County, CA and has done film, TV and theatre. She was right on the heals of the whole Lillith thing. I for sure thought she was gonna go big, but like so many, sometimes talent just ain't enough.

Not really. You're drawn to a period of your life listening to her- where sincerity expels the myth of improvisation and improvising expounds reality. She's incredible.

I rammed the sound against Meg Myers. Tal has more depth on my period of listening skills. I'm not too concerned on "Looks." Never one to judge at that level, especially at my age, especially having as you have had children her age. Tal's improvised works. Bass, or being a Bass Player has a lot to do with what you feel needs to be there, rather than what is requisitioned, there be it.

    Thank you T0G,
are you talking about the Tal video or the Meg Myers Video? We are referring to the second Meg Myers Video. If she wanted to expound sincerity, she'd have worn more than a stretched Tee dress in chilly studio.

When I was a touring musician I remember distinctly playing Western Colorado Univ. I was 31 at the time. Backstage and the after party there were all kinds of college girls available and I remember looking at them and thinking they looked like children. They would be hitting on me and my brain wanted to scream "go home, you are too young for this" That was 2 decades ago. It was a defining moment, my head just said 'nope, can't go there" Maybe Kharma smiled, as our next gigs were in Vail and Avon and I spent much of the next week between gigs at the home of a well to do 40 something divorcee as a kept man.

A former band mate of mine is friends with the guy who was the guy who inspired "You Oughta Know"
I always hoped I'd meet him.
Then there's Dido's (remember her?) boyfriend. Guy was a lawyer I think. Can you imagine him strolling into the office and "Thank You" or "Here with Me" on the radio and saying "Yeah, that's about me, cause I bring it"

Tal video. I was discussing the talented - Tal. T0G, as per usual brought out the most perfect subject to discuss. And we were on that page.
