And now Americans aren't even the fattest.

America no longer world?s fattest developed nation, UN report says

After obesity spreads world wide.... America loses the number one spot... to Mexico? Maybe the government should distribute fudge to get America back on top.
If I didn't bicycle when the weather is bad... I wouldn't be a cyclist. I'd just be another old fat man... with a bicycle hanging in his garage.

America may longer be the fattest nation on earth, but we were the FIRST to claim the title, and damn proud of it!

And now Americans aren't even the fattest.

India recently raised the official obesity measure. Has had an effect on health care and insurances. Wonder which other countries have considered this?

I've been to India a couple of times and I was surprised by how many chubby people I saw. The high carb diet seems to be catching up with some people.

This isn't a loss for America. It's a win. We've developed a product/process and exported/outsourced it. And done a pretty darn good job!

Good idea but if Government Cheese isn't doing the trick I'm not sure adding fudge will.
Even back when people were on average normal weight in the US there was plenty of garbage food and even less education on nutrition so I think we might need to consentrate on lazyness and lack of exersize to regain the crown.

Pre-K video game training might be a good idea. We can't have kids being lured into soccer, b-ball, hockey ect. before discovering video games because it might be too late at that point.

LOL, I do recall that. The womenz tended to be a tad chunky, although they wanted a tall weight lifter and my ass was clearly not good enough for her royal highness.

It all comes down to language. See in English it's called LARD. Such an ugly word for such a tasty product. In Spanish it's called Manteca. It rolls off the tongue so nicely that you cannot have seconds of it. MMmmmmm Manteca...

What is the UN standard for a developed nation? A few tourist areas are developed, but if go away from those areas, things go down hill.

We as Americans are not going to loose weight until it costs us more for insurance. IIRC, the BMI definition of obese is 40 lbs over the BMI weight for you height.
