    Panoramas - W - I - D - E - S - C - R - E - E - N

    On my NNC lunch yesterday.
Just under 3000' climbing in 20 miles. Bohlman, the first climb is 2500' in 5 miles.
With 18% in a few spots. Yikes!

Bohlman, outside Saratoga, with about 800' to go. This is looking north, towards Skyline

The entry to the Monte Sereno Open Space. Mountain lions warning signs galore.

Midway down Montevina towards Lexington Reservoir, above Los Gatos.
    Wadda descent!!!

One last for good measure - Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor

I'm running an old triple and 8 speed road cluster for a low of 26/23. It's fine.

I've done the fully paved climb and descent on Bohlman many times on my road bike
with a 39/25 or 39/27 depending on what wheels I run.
I've seen my cadence drop to the 30s up a couple of 20+% sections with those gears
if forced to the inside of a couple of the turns by cars passing me on the uphill...
